As the lead and sole product designer, I spearheaded the redesign of the website and executed a comprehensive brand refresh. My role encompassed everything from UX/UI design to ensuring the brand’s new look resonated with modern sensibilities.

In redesigning Journey's homepage, blog, practitioner page and about page, I focused on creating an intuitive and engaging user experience.
The goal was to give equal importance to patients and health practitioners.
Unlike other therapist-matching platforms, Journey emphasizes the importance of therapists and coaches, providing them with a dedicated space to present themselves authentically. This approach not only makes the platform more personable, but also helps users feel more connected and comfortable with their chosen practitioners.
Practitioner Dashboard:
One of the standout features of Journey is the practitioner dashboard, which I designed to enhance transparency and build trust. This dashboard allows therapists to share detailed information about themselves, including their session styles, specialties, and expertise. Additionally, practitioners can recommend books, podcasts, and share social media content, giving users a deeper insight into their world and fostering a more holistic understanding of their potential therapists.
Recognizing that therapists lead busy lives and often lack time to market themselves effectively, this comprehensive dashboard serves as a valuable tool for practitioners to connect with potential clients effortlessly.

Matching questionnaire:
To ensure users find the best possible matches, I designed a seamless and pointed matching questionnaire. This feature leverages specific, thoughtful questions to accurately align users with therapists that meet their unique needs and preferences.
The result is a more efficient and effective matching process, enhancing user satisfaction and fostering better therapeutic outcomes. By simplifying the matching process, we aimed to make therapy more accessible and reduce the apprehension users may feel when seeking professional help.
